AllergyDiary

A free web app for people with allergies — a diary of symptoms, triggers and medications that finds the patterns in your entries on its own.

The task

It's hard for an allergy sufferer to hold months of observations in their head: which food, smell or weather sets off a reaction, and which medication actually helps. Without consistent records, neither the person nor their doctor at an appointment can spot the pattern.

The solution

A web app for quickly logging symptoms, triggers and medications — a couple of taps on your phone. From there it looks for the links in the data it has gathered: which trigger most often comes before a flare-up, which medication works — and turns that into charts and a ready-made report you can show your doctor.

What the app can do
  1. A diary of symptoms, triggers and medications. Quick logging in a couple of taps, down to the specific food or situation, not just a broad category.
  2. Pattern analysis. Which trigger most often precedes a flare-up and which medication actually helps, based on the records you've built up.
  3. Pollen forecast. By location or a manually chosen city — it works even without access to your location.
  4. Export and import. You can save your records and move them to another device.
  5. A report for your doctor. A ready-made summary for an appointment in one click.
  6. Free, no sign-up. No payment and no account to create.
  7. Privacy. Your data is stored in the browser on your device and never goes to a server.
