The studio's site spoke only Russian. We built it an English version — and tested our new service on ourselves along the way. 12 pages in two languages, in a single day.
To work with clients abroad, the site needed an English version. Not a word-for-word render that instantly gives the machine away, but a site a native speaker reads as their own — and one that search shows to an English-speaking audience on equal footing with the Russian one.
In a single day the site became bilingual: 12 pages of content now live in two languages — 24 pages in all, each with its own switch and its own search setup. The studio became its own example of the service: our site now speaks to every visitor in their language. And it's the same process the studio brings to clients' sites.
What we did: adapted translation, building the second language version, an RU/EN switch, hreflang and a sitemap for two languages, two rounds of editing and quality control.
